This session lasts for one day duration.

The objective of this session is to demonstrate, learn and practice various surgical skills which needed to handle with unexpected complications such as bowel, ureters, bladder or vascular injuries, and obstetric anal sphincters injuries (OASIS).

Participants work in pairs, guided by an experienced facilitator throughout the following procedures:

• Repair of bowel injury

• Bowel anastomosis

• Repair of bladder injury

• Repair of ureter over JJ stent

• Ureteric implant

• Repair of vessels

• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree OASIS
